From first draft to signed proof — in one place
AI drafting, automatic field placement, reminders that chase for you, and evidence anyone can verify. Everything a modern signature workflow needs.
AI drafting
Describe the agreement. Get a draft in seconds.
Tell VectorSign what you need in plain English — the parties, the terms, the jurisdiction — and AI writes a complete, well-structured first draft. Refine it in a built-in editor with real headings, bold text and lists, then send it for signature without switching tools.
- NDAs, consulting and contractor agreements, offer letters, leases, releases — any agreement, in your own words
- Unfilled blanks like "[Client Name]" are flagged before the document is added, so nothing goes out half-finished
- Save your own templates for the whole team to reuse
Offer of Employment
We are pleased to offer you the position of Senior Product Designer…
Compensation
- Base salary of $140,000 per year
- Paid semi-monthly
1 blank left to fill: [Manager Name]
Automatic field placement
Place fields for every signer in a couple of clicks
Multi-party agreements used to mean dragging hundreds of boxes around. Quick place puts a field for every signer on every page of every document at once, and click-to-place hands the cursor to the next signer after each click.
- Quick place — initials for 8 signers across 14 pages: one click, 112 fields
- Date signed, automatically — added under each signature and stamped by VectorSign at signing, so it can't be backdated
- Checkbox, text, name and signature fields — each required or optional
- Preview as each signer, with a warning if anyone is missing a signature

E-signatures
Legally binding e-signatures on any device
Signers draw, type or upload their signature in the browser — no account and no app to install. Every capture is tied to the recipient, timestamped, and recorded with the IP address and device used.
- Aligned with the U.S. ESIGN Act and EU eIDAS
- Multiple documents per envelope, completed in one sitting
- Every party gets the signed PDFs by email once everyone's done

Routing
Signing order that matches how you work
Send to signers one at a time in the order you choose, or to everyone at once. Reorder anyone — including yourself — with a click, add CC recipients who just get the final copy, and switch an envelope between the two modes even after it's sent.
- Sign first, last, or anywhere in between
- CC legal, finance or a manager on the completed document
- Remind a signer by hand at any time
Reminders & expiry
Let VectorSign do the chasing
Choose to remind signers every 2 days, 3 days or weekly, and VectorSign re-sends the signing email to whoever's turn it is until they sign. Set an expiry and the envelope closes automatically — no stale signature requests lingering in inboxes.
- Only the person holding things up gets the reminder
- Expiry from 7 to 30 days
- Integrations are notified by webhook when an envelope expires

Access codes
An extra lock for sensitive documents
Give any recipient an access code and share it with them separately, by phone or text. The document won't open without it, and repeated wrong guesses lock the recipient out until you unlock them.
- Set per recipient, stored securely hashed
- Every attempt is recorded in the audit trail
- Signing emails tell the recipient to expect a code
Enter access code
The sender shared it with you by phone or text.
Sent & Received
One inbox for everything you send and receive
See what you're waiting on and what's waiting on you. Anything that needs your signature floats to the top with a Sign button. File envelopes into categories, and find any agreement by title, signer or email in seconds.
- Categories your organization defines, inherited from templates automatically
- Filters that stay visible as chips, so a short list is never a mystery
- Signers who create a free account find every document they've been sent
Proof
Full audit trail & Certificate of Completion
Every meaningful event — sent, viewed, signed, voided — is written to an append-only audit log. When every signer is done, VectorSign seals the signed PDFs and the audit log into a Certificate of Completion, with a trusted RFC 3161 timestamp from DigiCert on each document.
- Re-verify any signed document for tampering at any time
- Check the timestamp yourself with a standard OpenSSL command
- Certificate available in the app and over the API
Organizations
One workspace for the whole team — at one flat price
The Business plan covers up to 100 people for one monthly price. Owners and admins see every envelope the team sends; members see their own. Invite teammates, promote admins, and deactivate access instantly when someone leaves.
- Shared templates and envelope categories
- Organization-wide activity log
- Pooled document usage — one allowance for the team
Branding
Your brand on every signature request
Business plan teams put their own logo and accent colour on the signing page and every email their organization sends — so signers see your company, not a third-party tool.
- Logo and colour on signing pages
- Branded signing, reminder and completion emails
- Hide VectorSign's standard template library if you only want your own
Acme Corp has requested your signature on Vendor Agreement 2026.
API & integrations
Put signatures inside your own product
The VectorSign REST API creates and sends envelopes, embeds signing in your app, and sends HMAC-signed webhooks when envelopes complete or expire. Envelopes your integration sends show up for your organization's admins too.
- Embedded signing — no emails, no redirects
- Audit trail, certificate and tamper checks over the API
- Integration usage counts toward your organization's plan

How VectorSign keeps a signature honest
Tamper-evidence isn't a marketing claim here — it's a specific, checkable mechanism built into how every document is signed and stored.
Why a signed PDF can't be quietly edited
Every action on an envelope — created, sent, viewed, signed, voided — is written to an append-only audit log; existing entries can't be edited or deleted, even by us. Once every signer completes the document, VectorSign computes a SHA-256 hash of the final signed PDF and a separate hash of its full audit log, then combines both into a single Certificate of Completion.
Anyone can independently re-verify a signed document later: VectorSign re-hashes the stored PDF on demand and compares it against the hash recorded at signing time. If even one byte of the document changed after signing, the hashes won't match and the mismatch is surfaced immediately — tampering isn't just discouraged, it's detectable.
Certificate of Completion
TLS encryption in transit
All traffic between your browser, signers, and VectorSign is encrypted over HTTPS.
Tenant-isolated data
Every request is checked against who you are and what your role allows — members see their own envelopes, other organizations see nothing.
Immutable audit log
Audit events are append-only at the database layer — existing records can't be altered or deleted after the fact.
RFC 3161 trusted timestamps
Each signed PDF carries a DigiCert timestamp you can verify with OpenSSL — no need to trust VectorSign's word for when it was signed.
Signer access codes
Require a second factor you share out of band. Wrong attempts are logged and repeated guesses lock the recipient out.
Instant access revocation
Deactivate a teammate and they lose access within seconds — not when a login token eventually expires.
Independent verification
Re-check any signed document's integrity on demand, without having to trust a claim after the fact.
ESIGN Act & eIDAS aligned
Built around the legal frameworks that recognize electronic signatures in the U.S. and EU.
GDPR-aligned data rights
